International Space - Senior Account Manager:

 

 

Responsible for

Securing mission, platform and sub-system contracts in the international market (excluding North America, UK and Europe)

 

 

Key Purpose of Job

To identify and develop new opportunities for sales of spacecraft and sub-systems.

 

To secure new contracts for core business of designing and building satellites.

 

To maintain and improve current and expected customer relations to ease future business development and sales activities.

 

 

Key Tasks

·        To lead and develop a team of account managers responsible for securing work in the international market

·        To ensure that the processes, agreements and approaches taken in the international market are to the best interests of the company

      As the senior account manager to close the deal with customers and securing new business.

·        To develop, maintain and execute a plan for the initiation, development and closure of business opportunities.

·        To promote satellites and associated development programmes and client led constellations across an international community.

·        To influence potential customers and stakeholders in order to gain interest in products.

      To build and develop key relationships across an international customer base.

·        To successfully liaise internally with key interfaces (Bid Manager, Project Managers, Engineering specialists) at bidding stage of potential contract.

      Travel internationally as required to build relationships & achieve sales.

 

Commercial Space - Senior Account Manager

 

 

Responsible for

Securing mission, platform and sub-system contracts from commercial (non-governmental) customers.

 

 

Key Purpose of Job

To identify and develop new opportunities for sales spacecraft and sub-systems to customers pursuing commercial space activities.

 

To secure new contracts for core business of designing and building satellites.

 

To maintain and improve current and expected customer relations to ease future business development and sales activities.

 

 

Key Tasks

      To lead and develop a team of account managers responsible for securing work in the commercial market.

      To ensure that the processes, agreements and approaches taken are to the best interests of the company.

      As the senior account manager to close the deal with customers and securing new business.

      To promote satellite products and missions as commercially attractive propositions.

      To influence potential customers and stakeholders in order to gain interest in products.
