Brief:

 Electronics Hardware Engineer

Key Purpose of Job

Support the design, production and test of Sensors & Actuators for flight

 

Key Tasks

  • Work Package Management of hardware production, assembly and test including customer interaction

  • Requirements capture

  • Circuit level design and simulation where required

  • Authoring of technical documents (including assembly & test procedures, reports and technical descriptions)

  • Product Development

 

 PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications

  • HND/Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering

 

Experience

  • Some experience in a analogue/ digital electronics role, ideally in Space – with other sectors considered

 

 Knowledge & Skills

  • Good understanding of analogue / digital electronics

  • Excellent inter-personal skills - both written and oral communications; ability to interface with customers and technical representatives

  • Highly organised

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Flexible & adaptable to changing priorities

  • Ability to work simultaneously on a variety of projects
